We are currently recruiting for a Bordereaux Team Manager on behalf of our client, a highly regarded and very well-known Lloyd's/London market business.

The key purpose of the role is to provide effective management of the end to end bordereaux validation, payment and mapping process for claims, premium and risk.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing a team of (currently) four Bordereaux Associates.
- Supporting the Delegated Authority Manager by helping to manage the Underwriting and Delegated Underwriting Authority portfolio in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Managing bordereaux management resource - assisting with technical/data issues, reporting and meetings.
- Where applicable, working with the DUA Manager to ensure co-ordination of the bordereaux outsourcing contract.
- Working with the DUA Manager to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Working with the Delegated Claims Manager to carry out ad-hoc projects.
- Ensuring reporting and KPIs arising from all activities is accurate and timely.
- Attending business lines and team meetings where required, documenting the discussions.
- Assisting with due diligence portfolio analysis and reporting for all potential and future acquisitions.
- Supporting the transition/onboarding of new acquisitions, including UAT testing across the portfolio.
- Working with the DUA Manager in respect of necessary business reporting for all DUA portfolios, including (but not limited to) Lloyd’s Part VII & Brexit returns and annual Solvency II returns.
- Assisting in the production and management of MI reporting on monthly and quarterly basis (EXCO, UOC, DOC) for both Underwriting, Claims and Delegated Authority.
- Weekly reporting (verbal/written) for Underwriting oversight.

**Key Requirements**
- Experience of internal management of direct reports and teams, and of external provider management on an outsource basis.
- Ability to analyse MI and report on performance.
- Syndicate operations knowledge.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements / knowledge of Lloyd’s minimum standards.
- Good technical understanding of open market and binding authority business.
- Knowledge and understanding of VIPR and associated databases.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
