Production Assembler

CooperSurgical is a leading fertility and women's healthcare company dedicated to putting time on the side of women, babies, and families at the healthcare moments that matter most in life. CooperSurgical is at the forefront of delivering innovative assisted reproductive technology and genomic solutions that enhance the work of ART professionals to the benefit of families. We currently offer over 600 clinically relevant medical devices to women's healthcare providers, including testing and treatment options.
This role is responsible for the assembly, testing and packing of lower complexity Medical Laboratory Instruments. The primary function of the role is to complete Production orders within the set routing times and adhere to personal and team output targets. Working to Production Orders and adhering to steps outlined in defined Work Instructions.
- Knowledge and experience of manufacturing environments.
- Good communication skills.
- Good hand skills i.e., proficient in the use of hand tools and gauges.
- Competency in working to very precise tolerances.
- Good computer literacy
- Microsoft Office based experience.
- Preferable skills:
- Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and requirements.
- Good understanding of production assembly instructions.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in English with the ability to read production work instructions.
- Ensure Health and Safety is the primary focus and is maintained, reporting any near miss or accidents to the MLI Manufacturing Manager, Team Leaders and H&S Officer.
