At CooperSurgical we are currently looking to recruit a **Warehouse assistant.** You will be part of the CooperSurgical Inventory team, reporting to the Plant Director, via an Inventory Team Leader. This role is situated in Falmouth, Cornwall UK and is 100% office-based role.

Position

The main focus of the role of **Warehouse assistant** will be to ensure the accurate picking of components to the requirements of the released works orders.

You will be expected to perform in the role of a high standard of quality and accuracy, while at the same time meeting deadlines. The role requires the need to comply with instructions and training. All components must be stored in the correct allocated location and stock rotated to comply with FIFO requirements. The role does have manual handling requirements up to 20kgs and does require physical movement around the site.

The role necessitates that the work environment is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.

You thrive in a dynamic environment and will be comfortable working both independently and as part of the wider inventory team.

You will work closely together with the Operations teams and other relevant stakeholders.

**Your key responsibilities**- Picking components to the requirements of released works orders and supplying picked orders to the assembly floor.
- Receiving goods into the ERP system, ensuring quantities booked in are accurate and the activity is within a timely manner.
- Ensuring the stock is maintained in a safe working environment.
- Ensure high quality standard and compliance FIFO requirements
- Packing and shipping finished products out to our two Distribution Centres.

**Your Qualifications**
- Logistics and Warehouse experience is a requirement, preferable within medical device.
- Enthusiastic approach to work with a flexible attitude.
- Methodical and structured approach.
- Eye for detail
- Proficient level in MS office
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory
