**Responsible to**:_Spa Manager_**

**Profile**: As a member of the Spa team, our staff and guests expect an individual whose appearance, clothing and guest demeanour reflect the high standards of The Spa at Roe Park Resort. Attitude should be one of confidence and professionalism, whilst recognising that guest satisfaction through employee service and performance is of extreme importance.

**General Scope**: To ensure all clients are received in a manner befitting the company. To present and maintain an environment that will ensure guest satisfaction.

**About The Role**

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To ensure guests receive a warm welcome to the premises and providing a high level of hospitality.
- To check-in guests and complete consultation forms prior to using facilities.
- To be accurate in till operations and cash-up procedures.
- To lead by example with high level of service, personal hygiene, appearance and general attitude
- Assist Spa Therapists with room turn rounds when required
- To perform light reception duties at reception - checking clients in/out
- To ensure the reception and all guest areas, pool, plantroom and stores are clean, tidy and well stocked
- To use correct dosage of professional product and to keep store cupboards in good order whilst maintaining stock control procedures.
- To be aware of the resorts promotions and support any promotional activities as requested by Management.
- To maintain the highest standard of hygiene in all guest areas
- To assist in all daily duties such as stock control, laundry or cleaning
- To attend to any other duties as requested by your manager.
- To work with the team to maintain the set-up, cleanliness of the Spa & Health Club facilities to the highest standard
- To accept and understand a flexible work schedule is necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests
- To comply with the standards and operation procedures manual

**Communication**:

- To report any complaints or faults to the immediate supervisor and ensure that they are logged.
- To attend meetings as required.

**Security**:

- To remain constantly aware of security and report or act any suspicious event or person.
- To ensure all areas are secure upon completion of use

**Personal**:

- To maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene, appearance, and dress at all times.
- To ensure the correct uniform is worn, having been cleaned and ironed regularly.
- To ensure correct name badge is worn at all times in the establishment.
- Be polite and approachable to all guests and other staff members.
- To be punctual especially for arrival to work times
- Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and members

**Health & Safety**:

- To maintain an awareness of all Health & Safety requirements, as outlined in the Hotel Health & Safety Policy.
- To ensure awareness of the Spa’s fire procedures and the use of fire fighting equipment.
- To understand and follow the Spa’s emergency evacuation procedures.
- To remain constantly vigilant and aware of security, reporting any suspicious event or person.

**Required Criteria**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly organised
- Able to prioritise work load

**Desired Criteria**
- Knowledge of Spa/Leisure environment
