**People Experience - Recognition and Events Lead**

We are recruiting for a unique role that will focus on recognition and events. As a Recognition and Events Lead, you will be an experienced events planner, ready to bring us the very best ideas together with the skills to make it happen. Examples of our events include, recognition experience days, awards galas, recognition huddles, off sites and town halls. In addition to delivering events, this unique role includes managing our internal peer to peer recognition offering. We are proud of what we have built, and we are looking for the perfect person to maintain the running of the program with an eye on opportunities to evolve it. This includes the employee engagement strategy, keeping it fresh and inline with our customer strategy.
- Lead on all events projects to deliver exceptional employee experiences
- Own the running of all thing’s recognition, working with key stakeholders to evolve a great recognition offering for our people
- Be considerate of our diverse workforce, ensuring all our people feel included and recognized and transform our people expectations and revolutionize awards parties and experience days.
- Be well planned and organized, keeping the element of surprise and delight and be selecting and negotiating with vendors and overseeing quality
- Create, Deliver and Own the employee engagement strategy on recognition and events and be comfortable preparing briefings and proposals to communicate plans to key stakeholders.
- Own our communications strategy for People Experience, supporting the team to write engaging communications that get our people excited in what we are doing for them
- Look at innovative ways to engage our people in important messages and upcoming people initiatives

**Required qualifications, skills and capabilities**:

- Relevant experience in large scale event planning
- Relevant experience in communications / engagement
- Experience in working with vendors, suppliers, budget, and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
