Shepherd and Wedderburn are currently recruiting for a Junior Design Executive to join their Marketing and Communications team based in Edinburgh. This role will assist with the execution of multi-channel, integrated design and marketing campaigns and a variety of other creative initiatives under the direction of the Senior Design and Marketing Executive. Main duties include:
Collaborating with the design team to create visually appealing graphics for various projects
Assisting in the development of marketing materials, including social media content, advertisements, and promotional materials
Executing design concepts from ideation to final production, ensuring brand consistency
Staying updated on industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into design projects
Working closely with other departments to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs on time
The role Candidate Profile
Degree in Graphic Design or a related field
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong conceptual and creative thinking skills
Experience in printing formats
Experience of editing or producing video content.
Good understanding of digital and for-print export formats
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team

Demonstrates initiative to obtain relevant information to complete tasks.
