**The Opportunity**:
The University of Edinburgh Business School (UEBS) MBA Team seeks to appoint to the role of MBA Student Experience Officer on a fixed term maternity cover basis. This is a critical role with a strong focus on supporting the design, planning and project management of a portfolio of existing and new projects designed to enhance the student experience for participants across our portfolio of MBA programmes.

The projects are diverse relating to curriculum related development, employer engagement, career development and internationalisation. You will also assume responsibility for the collation of key management information and data required to measure and evaluate the MBA student experience. This is critical in helping to inform the continuous improvement and future development of all aspects of our MBA programmes. You will also be the key point of contact for managing our international exchange relationships.

Critical to the success of this role, will be the post holder’s ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure a high quality of student experience. We are looking for someone educated to HNC/HND or equivalent level with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience and a proven ability to manage projects in a dynamic and customer focused environment. Previous experience of working in an academic environment (in particular with postgraduate programmes) and exposure to engaging with multiple stakeholders in a diverse and multicultural environment will be highly beneficial.

We are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working

- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, aligned with a friendly and helpful manner. Proven relationship management skills with experience of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Excellent project management and organisational skills to ensure activities/projects for a range of stakeholders are delivered to a high standard and to meet deadlines.
- Good negotiating and influencing skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
- Strong general IT and systems skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise and organise workload effectively
