Following private equity funding by Lloyds Development Capital, BCIS is in the exciting position of being able to refresh, develop and break new ground with our industry-leading products. To ensure we are able to provide first-class HR support to our growing employee base, we are seeking to hire an highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team for 16 hours per week, on a 6 month fixed-term contract with the potential to become a permanent role for the right person.

**Location**
- This role will work on a hybrid basis between our Harrogate office and home.
- 1 day per quarter travel to Leeds for Finance/HR away day, all expenses paid
- 2 times per year company social event held in London, all expenses paid

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits enrolment and enquiries.
- Preparation of contractual documents and letters.
- Support the HR manager with administration of performance management processes, including performance reviews and employee development plans.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Prepare HR reports and assist with HR metrics analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and company policies.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Previous administration experience, ideally within an HR environment
- Team player
- Confident and friendly
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to workload reprioritization where necessary
- Good time management skills - structured and methodical work style
- Process driven
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to learn
- Confident when liaising with all levels of stakeholder
- An understanding of relevant basic employment law would be an advantage, but training will be provided where necessary
- Holds GCSE’s with a minimum of 2 at A-C or 4 and above grade in maths and English
- HR or Business Administration qualifications are not required but would be a strong advantage

**Development opportunities**:

- Potential to undertake a CIPD level 3 course should they progress to a permanent role following the initial 6 month fixed term period
