Our client is seeking a proactive and calm individual to provide expert level examination administration, as well as excellent managerial support within the Student Administration Team. This is a busy and demanding role with plenty of variety for someonewho enjoys juggling changing priorities

**Temporary Programme Administrator and Exams ManagerResponsibilities**

Initially, you will take on the following tasks:

- Updating, maintaining, and providing teaching information proactively
- Regularly communicating with and keeping students and staff informed of upcoming matters
- Identify situations when more insight may be required and proactively deliver relevant information at the appropriate time
- Providing specialist knowledge, advice and support
- Liaise with departmental and central IT services to resolve issues
- Establish effective working relationships to ensure smooth communication of policies and procedures
- Liaising with external and internal Examiners to ensure efficient administration of examinations
- The timetabling of examinations; preparation of exam papers; the marking of submitted coursework
- Proactively managing checking procedures and suggesting improvements to existing procedures
- Supervise team members by coordinating workload, delegating tasks, and providing feedback to support their development

**Temporary **Programme Administrator**Requirements**

The successful Temporary Administrator will have:

- An honours degree or equivalent experience
- Experience of working in higher education student support or exams administration with demonstrable knowledge of systems and procedures
- Experience of line management or directing the work of other staff through a team-based approach
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, and under pressure; prioritising competing demands in a challenging environment
- Demonstrable ability of managing small-scale, local, or operational team-focused projects
- Experience of initiating and implementing new operational processes, systems and structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Location**

Our client’s head office is based in Oxford City Centre (OX1). Due to this location, there is sadly no parking available onsite, but it is close to public transport links.
