**Purpose of the Role**

This exciting remote based Supplier Relationship Manager opportunity has arisen to join our small fast paced, forward looking Procurement and Supplier Management team within our wider Operations function to support the development and implementation of bestpractise through the Supplier Relationship Management “SRM” Framework. This will be achieved by proactively managing supplier relationships and contractual performance, identifying and delivering value to the business whilst working in partnership with businessand operational owners with the suppliers to ensure effective execution of the commercial contracts.

**What you will do**

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:

- Manage contract renewals and supplier governance meetings in line with the SRM framework.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities related to the level of service received from suppliers and ensure value for money and cost savings.
- Provide regular management information across key suppliers on performance, risk, commercials etc.
- Proactively manage poor supplier performance or escalate where appropriate to bring about improvement.
- Ensure effective dispute management and resolution when necessary.
- Collaboration with suppliers to support delivery of services.
- Track expenditure for applicable suppliers.
- Create and update supplier knowledge management documents including Contracts Summary, Contracts Register and Contracts Management database as well as Senior Management monthly reporting.
- Work with the wider Procurement team to manage the overall supplier framework, including ensuring supplier deliver to their contractual obligations and any annual Due Diligence.
- Assist in the development of new supplier RFPs and commercial negotiations.

**Who we are looking for**

This is an opportunity for an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager who can work independently but also as part of a team and be happy to get “stuck in” and work collaboratively to achieve mutual goals. You will need to manage stakeholders at all levelsso we are looking for someone who has:

- Strong supplier relationship management skills, ideally from a financial services background but other industries will happily be considered.
- The ability to work with, draw upon and use commercial contracts to ensure strong relationships between the business and the supplier.
- Dispute resolution skills.
- Knowledge to ensure commercial and contractual obligations are being met by suppliers.

We need a self-disciplined individual with strong interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will be a proactive, collaborative, organised individual who is happy to manage their own work but willing to supporttheir colleagues as required.
