**ACCOUNTS/PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR**

Copelands Tours a family run company is offering the above position. The position is arising due to retirement of a long serving member of our team. As some of the procedures are specific to the industry and to this company, training will be provided over the course of several months. However, it is a requirement that applicants have a minimum of 2 years Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll experience.
- Must be dependable and trustworthy. A high level of confidentiality needs to be maintained.
- Must adopt a polite and patient attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues.
- Will need to be flexible and willing to show a ‘hands-on’ approach when needed.
- A high level of accuracy will need to be applied.

**PAYROLL**
- Sage 50 (linked to Sage 50 Accounts)
- NEST pension scheme
- Able to run month and year end procedures.
- Be familiar with auto enrol process.

**ACCOUNTS** (Sage 50)
- Purchase ledger Manually input supplier invoices and credit notes.

Reconcile supplier accounts to statements.

Monthly payment of supplier accounts by either cheque or BACS

Resolve supplier discrepancies.
- Sales ledger Create and post small number of customer invoices, record and allocate cash accordingly.

Post invoices and receipts from Ph28 coach booking system to Sage via link.

Post monies received for day excursions and holidays booked via T3 booking system to Sage via link. Transfer monies to relevant bank account via Sage journal.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Petty Cash
- VAT, including on-line submission.

**ALSO**
- Have confidence communicating with accountants.
- Chase overdue payments in an appropriate manner
- Prepare cash and cheques for banking.
- Recording and accounting for director’s fuel

In addition to the above duties, you will be expected to provide financial information for directors and accountants and be able to complete financial returns in an accurate and timely manner.

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
