**Hours: Monday to Friday - Flexible hours between 6am - 10pm - full time down to 30hours pw available**

**Salary: £22,639 per annum - pro rata down to 30 hours**

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a People And Payroll Administrator to join a business in Burton On Trent on a permanent basis.

School friendly hours available Some payroll experience is an advantage but this role would suit a driven, fast learning individual who would be willing to undertake training provided.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Process all HR administration in relation to the colleague lifecycle including;
- Producing offer letters and Contracts of Employment
- Processing and entering of all information for new starters on the payroll system
- Leavers are recorded promptly into the payroll system
- Checking data extracted from Workplace for accuracy to ensure colleagues are paid correctly and into the payroll system
- Support with the co-ordination of employee relations cases in relation to absence, conduct and performance including preparing investigation packs and taking minutes at meetings
- Ensure all colleague data is accurately maintained in a timely fashion both electronically and on personnel files
- Designing and creating internal newsletters to communicate key messages across the Distribution Centre and wider business
- Ensuring all internal communication boards are refreshed with relevant information to support the implementation of projects and change across the Distribution Centre
- Supporting initiatives to increase employee engagement
- Providing general administrative support to the General Manager

**Experience and Skills**:

- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience of producing internal communications to a wide audience
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience of all Microsoft packages
- Creative and enthusiastic
- Ability to collate and understand numerical data
- Flexible and adaptable to work varied shift patterns
