**Payroll Officer**
**Part time** - 20 hours across Monday - Friday
**Salary** - depending on experience
**Location** - Burslem
**Job Spec : Payroll Officer**
- Ensuring all employees are paid accurately and adhering to the pay deadlines.
- Point of liaison with HR on matters regarding employee starters/leavers.
- Absences, changes to pay rates.
- Ensure that all queries are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.
- Input new starter details, including P45 information, student loan, and National Insurance details.
- Produce and distribute P60s.
- Record, calculate, and make statutory payments or salary deductions for sick pay, SSP, including SMP, SPP, NI, PAYE
- Pension administration
- Annual payroll year end
- Use of computer software, Sage and Xero
- Maintain accurate records for Starters and Leavers
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
- HMRC submissions
- Answering and managing all payroll / pay slip queries.
- Authorise overtime.
- Making sure all staff are clocking in and out.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.25-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
