**Business Unit**

A busy and fast paced region involved in a range of projects covering rail infrastructure work inclusive of but not limited to civil engineering & building works, Mechanical & Electrical, Electrification & Plant works. AmcoGiffen are dedicated to delivering projects across a variety of sectors with typical works including bridges and footbridges, embankments, station improvements, platforms, tunnels, electrification etc.

**The Role**

As a Trainee Document Controller, you will play a key role in supporting document control activities within the region, ensuring the project team (colleagues, client, supply chain and stakeholders) always have access to current version of project documentation and this documentation is accurately filed and archived in accordance with contractual requirements, company procedures and quality systems.

Day to day, your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- providing general support to the project team.
- processing different types of documents and information from a range of sources.
- liaising with customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
- collating and extracting data to produce routine reports.

AmcoGiffen’s 12-month Business Administration modern apprenticeship provides a wealth of learning and development opportunities whilst gaining a Business Administration SCQF Level 6, which you will study remotely for with one of our academic partners.

**Requirements**:
To excel in this position, you will have the following:

- Academic requirements: National 5 Maths & English - Grade A-C or equivalent
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
