Driverlink Training are currently seeking two Transport planners to join our ever-growing transport team, as soon as they are readily available.

£ Salary: £26,000 per annum (Reviewed yearly)

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Plan and coordinate transport routes for efficient delivery of goods
- Collaborate with your team and Transport Manager to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Monitor transport activities and resolve any issues or delays
- Support the transport and operations teams with ad-hoc tasks
- Excellent customer services to liaise with our customers to ensure service levels are met
- Maintain accurate records of schedules and driver rotations
- Ensuring planning is cost affective and profitable
- Working with the Transport Manager and Fleet Manager on compliance duties
- Conducting on-call duties for two of your four shifts (Company vehicle, phone, and £25 payment for these duties)
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Proficient in using transport software and tools (Full training will be given)
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards
- Knowledge of driver’s hours and current regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Full clean driving licence. HGV Class 1 preferable but not essential (No DD or IN conviction codes)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Work with your counterpart to cover each other’s holidays
