We are excited to be looking for a full-time HR Administrator working 40 hours per week, to join the team at our Head Office and to be part of the magic. The role will be based a minimum of 3 days per week from our office in Kettering, Venture Business Park, and the remaining two days working from home.
**The Role**:
As an HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR Business Partner and Recruitment and Training Manager in delivering the HR strategy. You will be responsible for undertaking transactional tasks driven by the employee lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our nurseries.
**Responsibilities**:
- Onboarding - Issuing employment contracts, forms, and supporting Nursery Managers with references, DBS checks, and eligibility to work.
- Administering various HR platforms and ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
- Supporting the completion of monthly payroll and responding to payroll queries.
- Monitoring and managing notifications on our HR platform, ensuring compliance and notifying managers of any expirations.
- Supporting the HR Advisor with note-taking during formal meetings.
- Processing leavers and responding to reference requests.
- Assisting with ad hoc or change projects.
- Responding to queries promptly or escalating to the responsible person.
- Completing tasks promptly and within agreed timescales.
- Demonstrating our values in everything you do.
- Keeping your line manager updated on your workflow and key information.
- Performing any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.

**Qualifications**:
- CIPD Level 3 is desirable, but not essential.
- A positive approach to gaining further qualifications and CPD.
**Knowledge & Experience**:
- Strong previous experience in an administrative role within a HR function.
- Experience in a fast-paced working environment.
- Sound understanding of GDPR, data protection, and confidentiality.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent organisational ability with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality and Data Protection.
- Experience of working in the Childcare sector and with multi-site businesses is advantageous but not essential.

Familiarization with and adherence to our safeguarding and health and safety policies is essential. Participation in related mandatory/statutory training is also required.

**Salary**: £24,104.00-£26,200.00 per year
