To continue our growth, we have now created the position of Chief of Sales and Marketing, who collaboratively with our Sales and Marketing teams will continue our ongoing journey.
**What you’ll be doing**
As a member of the Executive Team, the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer maintains a customer-first mindset as a priority to drive customer numbers and sales. This role will own the customer journey, fully understanding the customer and the markets for all Gravity brands, ensuring we drive marketing to the right people. This role will deliver increased footfall, increased market share, customer loyalty, increased revenue, enhanced customer NPS and a higher return on advertising spend.
**Your main Responsibilities**:
**Customer**
Lead the design and delivery of the customer segmentation strategy, ensuring the business has a full understanding of the target customer across each of its brands, so marketing can be targeted at the right audience, at the right time, with the right message using the right platforms, to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Ownership of the customer journey from brand awareness through to returning customers, including the design and development of the customer service touchpoints including the website and customer service centre.
Ownership and build of the Company brands and customer loyalty to support future revenue growth.
**Strategy**
- You will create a clear sales and marketing strategy that aims to increase market share, customer numbers and revenue.
- Continually review internal and external data to drive informed business decisions, with customer insights leading the way.
- Drive alignment between all teams that are responsible for driving revenue growth in the business, promoting a collaborative way of working that unifies the teams.
- Identify areas of opportunity for increased revenue growth, with clear plans on how to achieve this in practice.
- Own the Marketing budget to drive revenue growth and customer numbers, whilst keeping costs low.
- Define the reporting structure to continually measure the ROI of all marketing activity, and other KPI’s including market share, customer sentiment, acquisition and retention.
**Sales, Marketing and PR**
- You will lead the design, development and delivery of the business sales and marketing strategy across all brands.
- Ensure the development of sales playbooks that have the customer at the heart of the offering.
- Lead the creation of a marketing roadmap, focused on delivering a ROI keeping customers at the heart of decision making.
- Oversee the management of the Company brand, being the gatekeeper of external communications and PR.
- Leading a team of marketing, sales and customer service experts to drive a seamless customer journey.
**About you**
You will already be in a leadership position, coming from either a Leisure, Entertainment, Hospitality, F&B or Retail environment. You are strategic and commercially minded, and you thrive on data to understand trends, patterns and opportunity. You can then utilise this data to develop growth and development plans. You will have a demonstrable track record in revenue growth through the development of customer strategy. The role will primarily be based in our Head office in Wakefield where you will spend most of your time when not visiting our sites, so you must live within a commutable distance.
