**About Our Client**:
Our client is a well-established, well-known and rapidly growing professional service based in Sheffield. Due to the recent growth, the business has created this brand new role of a Payroll Team Leader to support the Payroll team permanently.

As a Payroll Team Leader, reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for line managing a small team of Payroll Officers ensuring the team has the guidance, support, and direction.The key responsibilities will also include; Line Managing the Payroll team, taking responsibility for the quality of work, supporting and taking ownership of payroll queries and complaints, ensuring internal and external team key performances are recorded, understood, agreed and measured, providing training.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Has held a similar role in the past
- Excellent people relationship skills
- Ability to analyse individual and team performance
- Ability to work well as a leader of a team
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
