The Division of Health Research and Faculty of Health and Medicine, is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Health Economics to join our Health Economics at Lancaster group, within a high-quality research active department. This is a 12 month position to cover Maternity Leave.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the potential to make a high-quality contribution to the research profile of the Health Economics at Lancaster group, which operates across the Division of Health research and the Department of Economics.

You will have a PhD with appropriate experience in applied micro economics, preferably in health. You will also be able to deliver high quality and engaging teaching and ideally should have experience in supervising postgraduate students.

Primary duties of the post will comprise the supervision of doctoral/masters trainee research, supporting teaching and assessment activities on the programme and providing pastoral support to trainees.
