Senior Accounts person required for a new role in the south of County Durham - this role would suit either and FC or a Management Accountant. The role is full-time and could also offer study support for a part-qualified person looking to develop further.
The Role
The business currently uses Sage/Sage Payroll and an industry (Sage compliant) package, Eque2.
Day to day duties will include:
Processing invoices, payments and payroll along with any other duties as and when required to get the job done.
Journals, Accruals, Prepayments, Balance Sheet Reconciliations as a matter of course.
Taking the Management Accounts to trial balance stage.
Ensure that duties are allocated to staff to maximise financial control and best practice.
Develop the budgeting and reporting within the business alongside the FD
Ensure timely reporting of financial information in line with the company’s reporting strategy

Remuneration
£40,000 per annum
