**Procurement Specialist - Great Yarmouth area - Manufacturing - circa £45K - £50K**

If you’re a motivated procurement professional looking for that next step in your career - this opportunity will be perfect for you We’re recruiting for a Procurement Specialist on behalf of a global manufacturing company to join them at their site in Norfolk. This is a stand-alone role at this site but working closely with the centralised procurement team based at another site in the UK. You will need to have excellent communication skills and demonstrated purchasing expertise within manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to grow within a business that are rapidly growing.

**Responsibilities**

As a Procurement Specialist you will act as the primary liaison between the shop floor team located in Norfolk and the wider procurement team situated at another site.
You will play a key role in evaluating cost saving initiatives within the company supply chain and lead projects such as dual sourcing and Vendor Management Inventory (VMI).
You will maintain regular communication with suppliers, seek order updates and address any potential issues whilst updating and maintaining the company MRP system.

You will thrive in this role if you have previous procurement / purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment with excellent communication and negotiation skills; even better if you have project management experience and have strong IT skills.

Salary circa £45K-£50K depending on experience with benefits including an Employee Assistance Programme and a rewards and discounts scheme. There is a company pension scheme and 25 days holiday + bank holidays. Working hours are 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The role of Procurement Specialist is commutable from Great Yarmouth, Stalham, Catfield, Potter Heigham and surrounding areas.
