About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Great Yarmouth. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing projects in the upstream oil and gas industry, specifically in the supply of HP drilling risers and tensioning equipment for jack-up drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate project activities, including procurement, engineering, and construction.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement risk response planning as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, procurement, and operations.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and team members.
  • Prepare project reports, metrics, and documentation packs for efficient project execution.

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND in Engineering or 5 years' experience in an Engineering environment in upstream oil and gas.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office 365 and other Microsoft software.
  • Familiarity with HP drilling riser products & services in the upstream oil & gas sector is an advantage.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum.
