Our Global Business Coordination department is responsible for anticipating, identifying, and responding to changes within a constantly evolving retail industry. We drive developments and innovation that deliver real customer value. This is a chance for you to have a global impact to help us prepare for the future of retail.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Propositions professional to join our team. You will play an important part in the development of innovative propositions that align with strategic objectives and consumer needs to improve our market share. You will be confident in identifying opportunities, building business cases, and driving change cross-functionally. You will be a key part of a hugely ambitious programme with the aims of improving customer experience at ALDI on a global scale, transforming the business and preparing for the future.
The role is UK based, but part of a global team, therefore some travel on demand should be expected, as per the needs of the project, or upon request of the Manager.
**About the role**
- Responsible for implementing the strategy, across Aldi South, and managing these propositions to deliver compelling customer experiences that support company strategic and commercial goals
- Translate high-level strategic priorities and optimisation opportunities into structured projects with clear financials, business cases and action plans
- Work cross-functionally across Customer Interaction teams to manage implementation of deliverables on the roadmap across the full lifecycle from conception, trial, initial delivery to roll out and benefits realisation, ensuring end-to-end stakeholder alignment and engagement
- Craft clear and concise communications that are tailored to audiences, across different levels and countries
- Be flexible by supporting additional deliverables across the wider organisation as required and balancing work with team commitments
- Work closely with Insight and Strategy team to be an advocate for the Customer and our Strategy across the wider business
**About you**
- Experienced in bridging the gap between strategic thinking and pragmatic implementation
- Proven track record in managing and influencing a group of diverse stakeholders, across different teams and levels, in a complex organisation
- Excellent communication skills - able to deliver concise, tailored messaging (both written and verbal)
- Strong problem solver - able to simplify complex problems
- Delivery-focused - experience with end-to-end delivery and project management
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, along with the ability to quickly understand new software
- Intellectual curiosity and commercial awareness
- Creative thinker with initiative - works well independently and within a team
- Attention to detail - able to collaborate with colleagues to assure quality and best practice
- 1+ year experience with proposition development / project management
**What you will get in Return**
- Salary starting from £33,165 rising to £47,990
- 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday
- Friday (flexible working hours available)
