We are looking for an Employee Relations Assistant to join our HR team based in Luton or Gateshead.

**As a Employee Relations Assistant you will**:

- Provide ER & HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner
- Proactively contribute and provide ER support to the ER Advisor with the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
- Contribute and support in HR projects such as Security screening/vetting, or other projects as they arise
- Ensure all required pre-employment checks are carried out fully and in a timely manner
- Handle maternity, paternity, adoption, parental leave and other statutory processes and queries
- Support in the administration and management of TUPE processes (TUPE In; TUPE Out and Tender)
- Provide support with administration of investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Carry out any other reasonable ad hoc duties to support of the HR department and ongoing self-development

**As a Employee Relations Assistant you’ll have**:

- Excellent presentational skills for all correspondence, letters, presentations and data
- Computer literacy with demonstrable ability in Microsoft packages and databases including Excel
- Assertive, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work to tight timescales
- Builds appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with employees and line managers

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
