A hybrid role where you manage your own diary. This is a great charity to work for who love to develop their staff. In this role they will fund your level 5 in leadership and management. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a proper leadership role who might have had some experience before.

You will be joining a national charity whose focus is to support people with learning disabilities or learning difficulties such as autism. You will be managing their supported internships programme, which has established employers on board.

You will be managing 2 Tutors and a Learning support assistant - who support the learners to gain functional and employability skills. As well as a 4 Employment Coaches who support the learners into work experience as well as coaching and mentoring them into paid employment.
- Teaching and learning observations ensuring high quality delivery.
- Be Ofsted ready
- Overseeing the referral process
- Liaising with the employers who have joined the programme
- Manage finances and safeguarding whilst ensuring the team performs

You must have come from an education / traineeship / apprenticeship or employability background. And will have ideally managed staff (but not essential). You might have previously worked as an internal verifier, senior tutor, functional skills tutor, employability tutor, or assessor. It is essential you are from a classroom delivery background originally.
