Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the development policy, coordinating the commissioning of services, and administrating effective teams, that actively support the delivery of the Mayor’s Police and Crime Plan (PCP) for London.
Location: London
Contract: 3 months
Work hours: Full time

**Salary**: £20.84 PAYE - £26.73 LTD

Main duties and responsibilities
- Support the delivery of programmes of work as set out in the Police and Crime Plan. These could

cover, but are not limited to:

- Reducing and preventing violence
- Better supporting victims
- Increasing Trust and Confidence in both Police and the criminal justice system
- Protecting people from being exploited and harmed, including a focus on young people
- Tackling Violence against women and girls
- Provide coordination and support to the team in the development of policy and commissioning

of services.
- Support the administration of contracts and grants to ensure impact for Londoners and value for money.
- Coordinate and contribute to briefing and submissions to the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, and Senior Officers.
- Support and coordinate engagement with partners to help contribute towards the delivery of MOPAC priorities.
- Support the delivery of the team’s projects and programmes and take responsibility for ensuring the successful delivery of project and programme activities within their area of responsibility.
- Support the team in monitoring and tracking financial activity.
- Contribute to MOPAC’s responsibility and oversight over the Metropolitan Police Service,

through the collection and sharing of information and intelligence
Essential
- Experience of supporting and coordinating projects
- Experience of providing excellent administration and coordination functions for teams
- IT literacy including MS Office
