**Overview**:
One of the Key Priorities for The Albatross Group is simplification and the improvement of business processes, the systems that we use are critical to this.. The Business Systems Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to ensure that our systems are used effectively, that the integrity of system data is high and to support the various Albatross brands with system focussed processes. As a key member of the Continuous Improvement team, the Business Systems Coordinator will play a critical role in helping to make the Albatross Group work more effectively as a whole than it does as the sum of its individual parts.

**Competencies for Success**:
The Business Systems Coordinator position requires a high level of general organisation as well as excellent communication skills combined with an ability to work independently, with various stakeholders or as part of a team. - Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to spot anomalies.
- Calmness when working under pressure and adaptability when demands and requirements change.
- Excellent time management skills: the ability to prioritise, to multitask and to work with tight deadlines.

**Major Responsibilities (core areas of work)**:

- Facilitating the effective use of all Albatross booking systems; assisting system users, answering queries, triaging issues and championing processes that should be consistently followed.
- Supporting all Albatross brands with business processes that are dependent on extracting data from systems or on entering data into systems and working with system users to help embed new solutions and/or processes.
- Owning the data that is in the various Albatross booking systems, ensuring a high level of Data Integrity at all times.
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks throughout the Group using Microsoft products.
- Taking ownership for the timely and accurate preparation of commercial information and statistics.
- Supporting the Head of Continuous Improvement & the Continuous Improvement Manager with the delivery of key improvement projects.
- Supporting our external IT Support company when necessary to ensure our people have the tools to do their jobs and that networks and systems are working effectively and efficiently.
- Please note that this list is not exhaustive. At times the job role may be altered to help others complete their duties and there may be the requirement to travel and visit all Group offices. _

**What does Success Look Like?**:

- Colleagues trust the Albatross systems and the data within those systems.
- Commercial information is completed accurately and by agreed deadlines.
- All Group staff feel that simplification has been a focus, that processes have improved and are continuing to improve.
- There is greater knowledge sharing throughout the Group and more colleagues are competent and confident with the use of the systems and programs that are available to them.
- We are ‘Albatross People’ demonstrating The Albatross Way in everything that we do.

**Albatross Benefits**:

- Annual Salary £26,750 pro-rated for 22.5 hours - £17,196
