Administration Assistant

Due to additional workload and sickness cover, we require an Administrator to join our Facilities team working on an ongoing temporary basis over the Summer. You will be assisting with the administration support across the department whilst also providing any other support to the team and our external contractors. Working Mon to Fri full time ideally 8am to 4pm although there can be some flexibility to start and finish times. The role would suit either University students seeking Summer work or someone with administration and/or customer service experience who is available for temporary work to start asap. We can offer free on site parking and a friendly and professional working environment as we are a well respected organisation.
The main duties will be as follows:
- General admin support across the facilities department.
Data entry and recording data.
Answering the phone and taking messages or assisting callers.
Processing orders for supplies.
Raising invoices.
Logging requests for call outs to rectify facilities problems.
Liaising with other departments internally eg. Maintenance and transport.
Liaising with external contractors.
To be considered you should have good PC skills, a confident telephone manner and ideally some admin support experience, be happy working on an ongoing temporary basis through the Summer and be available to start asap. You should also be happy to undertake our background checks - referencing and DBS and be happy working in an onsite office based role.
In return we can offer weekly pay, paid holiday and free parking and with an element of flexibility to working hours and days.
