**The Opportunity**:
As a Test Lead you will be responsible for working with the Operations, Change and IT functions to ensure we execute effective business test plans pre and post IT releases, with an opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of IT releases.

You will play a key part of developing and implementing an overall business test strategy throughout the Operational Teams to complement the existing IT Functional Testing already in place.

As a Test lead you will be based in the Business Improvement Area and report to the Operations Service Delivery Manager. However this is a visible and collaborative role within Diligenta and you will be expected to work closely with the various teams in Operations, Change and IT.

**You'll be**:

- Provide an efficient, effective support to Operations through the provision of detailed, relevant and impactful business testing of IT system releases / fixes, recommending appropriate business test plans through proactively challenging procedures
- Record test evidence and results and ensure these are feedback in a timely manner
- Monitoring time spent and reporting on releases to ensure we have enough resource in place.
- Establishing and maintaining testing / QA policies and processes.
- Reviewing releases and incidents, gaining insights into ways we can improve the quality of our releases/fixes.
- Work closely with the IT areas, build and maintain a close working relationship and understand at a detailed level their processes to be able to recommend appropriate test plans for business testing Provide support for BaNCS IT with feedback for Operations on BTS Tickets and Internal PCOs
- In partnership with IT and Operations colleagues support and manage any business testing escalations
- Experience working in Financial Services
- Experience working in a testing environment and delivering to tight timescales
- Experience in creating and developing effective test plans, including testing types, techniques and test design
- Experience in engaging and communicating clearly with stakeholders, management & 3rd parties
- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders Some experience of business analysis and solution development
- Experience of system problem analysis and tools, methods and techniques for resolving issues
