We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Lead to join our team in Grangemouth, Scotland.

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Systems Integration Manager to lead automation projects from design documentation to handover. If you have experience delivering control and automation projects to major UK clients, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret User Requirement Specification packages and reverse engineer existing control system software.
  • Develop functional design specifications, configure PLC and SCADA packages, conduct factory testing, site testing, and commissioning.
  • Lead large-scale SI projects.
  • Ensure project completion within time and budget constraints.
  • Act as Engineering Coordinator on projects, coordinating disciplines within the Technology division and/or BGEN Group.
  • Guarantee that engineering and design activities meet national and international standards, client requirements, and best engineering practices.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of systems engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of safe working practices with regards to electrical equipment.
Essential Skills
  • PLC software development using Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Schneider devices.
  • HMI software development using Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Schneider devices.
  • Knowledge and experience in virtual machines (VMWare).
  • Good planning, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • A full UK driving licence.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000-£80,000, depending on experience.
