As a Site Lead within Trust & Safety, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our entire Operations team in London (approx 1,000 employees). Our Operations team moderate millions of videos globally every day, ensuring we are keeping our users safe. This role will have overall responsibility to ensure our Content Moderation team are maintaining our Community Guidelines to the highest standards. In your role you will also be partnering with various cross functional stakeholders and will be representing Trust & Safety in senior leadership forums.

This is a senior leadership role where you will lead, develop and grow the team, ensuring that they are performing to their best of ability and consistently achieving all relevant targets. As part of this role, you will ensure our Trust & Safety Operations team in London consistently hits our ambitious accuracy and latency targets. You will be leader, managing managers and a large organisation in EMEA and will report to one of our Senior Operations Leaders in EMEA.

Please note, this role is based in London.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- You will have overall responsibility of our Trust & Safety Operations team in London and run the entire site operations which includes leading projects and strategy implementation, resource management, and providing overall leadership to the team.
- You will be a key partner to senior cross functional stakeholders across ByteDance and contribute not only to the success of your team but beyond.
- You will foster a high-performance culture and champion open communication, inclusion, continuous improvement, and feedback sharing. You will promote and support effective team work through good communication and regular team meetings.
- You will identify team learning and development needs to foster continuous people development.
- You will have overall responsibility for office space planning, employee wellbeing initiatives, and ad hoc initiatives as required
- You will review targets and ensure that services are delivered to agreed policies & procedures and that the team holds themselves to a high standard
- You will prepare reports and analyse data to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated, and maximise efficiency at all times.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- 10+ years' experience in a similar role or environment with at least 5 years people management (including managing managers)
- Experience in Trust & Safety, customer service or scaled operations is preferred
- You have experience recruiting, leading, and mentoring high performing operations teams and empowering managers reporting to you to really own their business
- You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as a passion for delivering a high standard of service.
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholders are also essential.
- Demonstrate empathy towards others and show inspiring leadership.
- You have a strong eye for detail and are confident using data to analyse performance, share insights and drive performance and efficiency
- You can influence senior stakeholders, bring them onboard and partner well within a matrix organisation operating at high pace.
- You will have an ability to cope well and thrive in an environment that is constantly changing but be able to adapt and make decisions fast.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in content moderation
