As the Head of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the human resources strategy for their energy consultancy. You will be responsible for managing the entire HR function and ensuring that their organsation attracts, develops, and retains top talent. This position collaborates closely with senior management to align HR initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
**What youll be doing**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Lead and oversee all aspects of HR operations, onboarding, performance management, talent development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing guidance and support on HR matters to managers and employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify current and future talent needs, develop workforce plans, and create effective recruitment and retention strategies.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching managers on effective feedback and development practices.
- Champion a culture of employee engagement, fostering a positive work environment, promoting diversity and inclusion, and ensuring high levels of employee morale and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and internal policies, regularly reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in employment legislation, proactively recommending improvements to HR programs and processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in progressively responsible HR roles, preferably in the energy or call Centre industry.
- Minimum CIPD level 5 qualification essential
- Proven track record of leading and developing successful HR teams, with experience in strategic HR planning and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
