**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Investigator on a Fixed Term basis. This role will be based at Brindley Place, Birmingham.

The Lead Investigator will take lead responsibility for ensuring GreenSquareAccord investigation processes are robust and consistently applied across the Operations directorate always ensuring the highest levels of integrity. This will include taking lead role in the management of safeguarding practices across GSA.

You will lead in the investigation of high-level incidents across Operations. Although not exhaustive, this may include safeguarding enquiries that meet the threshold for Section 42 enquiry (section 47 in Children's services), complex complaints, customer safety incidents triggering the Duty of Candour, whistle blowing or coronial investigations or any other incident for which there is legal or regulatory oversight or a need for an independent investigating officer (including disciplinary and grievance investigations).

You will be ensuring there are clear processes for learning from adverse incidents across Operations.

**About you**

You will have First degree or final year study leading to major professional qualification: or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level or substantial relevant experience matching remit of role.

Qualification in Housing, Care & Support and Critical Incidence Response/Debrief or equivalent would be desirable for this role.

You will have experience of dealing with complex issues and identifying potential resolutions that meet customer/ regulator needs and are operationally deliverable. This will include great experience of undertaking Investigations.

Knowledge of Safeguarding is essential for this role.

**Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require evidence of the required certificates and qualifications for this role. Without this evidence, you would be unable to commence employment at GreenSquareAccord.**
