Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only
(including Training Days - 39 Weeks Per Year)

We are seeking an adaptable and motivated person to work as a member of our pastoral team, focusing on improving students’ attendance.
- Will be able to relate to young people and are committed to helping them achieve their potential
- Will have excellent communication skills to enable you to build good working relationships with parents and students
- Can work effectively as part of a team as well as individually
- Will be able to analyse data and can spot patterns and trends
- Will have lots of energy and relentless optimism
- Will be able to show resilience and challenge parents where students’ attendance is unacceptable and absence is persistent.
- Work with the pastoral team to support parents to remove barriers to good attendance
- Work effectively with students, families, and external agencies to monitor interventions.
- Take necessary actions with students who attendance fall below acceptable levels
- Will monitor attendance and work directly with tutors and other staff where students attendance falls below acceptable levels
- Be able to work on one’s own initiative, balance priorities and organise a work schedule
