We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who is creative and has bundles of ideas to join our Resourcing Solutions team as our Recruitment Marketing Officer. We would be delighted to welcome you to our team, whether you are experienced in marketing or are a graduate looking for a role where you can develop your knowledge, skills and experience. As a team we are committed to supporting the development of our team members by providing diverse and varied projects, training and support. We have an established record of supporting the development of graduates and currently have other members of the team who are working with us in graduate roles.
The salary and terms you are appointed on will depend on whether you are an experienced professional or joining us as a graduate trainee.
**About the role of Recruitment Marketing Officer**
This is a great role if you want to use your creative skills to create compelling social media content with imagery and text on a daily basis, and support web-based campaign development. You will help to implement a Recruitment Marketing and Branding Strategy to attract high-quality applicants on recruitment campaigns, as well as increase our brand awareness as an employer of choice. You will proactively seek out opportunities for content creation across the business and link to current recruitment needs; creating, maintaining and implementing new and existing web pages, content, imagery, video, forms, and relevant media content for our jobs and careers web pages, campaign sites and social media channels.
If you join us as a graduate trainee, this would be on a 2 year programme and you will have a wide range of learning opportunities as part of the Graduate Scheme. This will help you to develop leadership skills and corporate knowledge and help you prepare if you wish to build a future career in the Council. Additional training and development opportunities include thing such as mentoring and career support, aspiring manager training and the Graduate Network. The programme is designed to give you a much more enriched development experience and many of our previous graduates have found this to be a real career enhancing opportunity.
**About you**
If you can display creative thinking with the ability to design, write and edit content in a brand tone of voice, then we want to hear from you.
Now for the technical bit; for the Recruitment Marketer post you will need to evidence your understanding of basic HTML, WordPress and digital design principles, including UX, and experience with Photoshop. For the Graduate position we would support you to develop this knowledge and experience.
**Our offer**
In addition to a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including career average employer contribution pension. You will have the chance to further develop your resourcing techniques in a progressive, quality focussed team.
We have fun whilst we work; we support charities, volunteer, have regular team development sessions and social events. We achieve a lot, we are well recognised for this nationally, locally and through the random positive gestures and thank you; we build your personal profile as well as ours and our clients.
We work on a hybrid basis; office and home working with the need to attend the office (Northallerton) at least one day per week. We promote flexible working, and this can be great to attend those important family occasions, see to those chores and last minute emergencies, but in the spirit of honesty we work flexibly around the requirements of the role, around our customers, we work where work is most appropriate to deliver our services to build strong relationships.
