Cande is a freethinking creative agency specialising in video production. We support clients from the initial spark of an idea to full production, delivery and the onward journey of a campaign. We have a large client base in the agricultural supply chain and work with farms, processing plants, retailers and in consumer marketing.

We are looking for a Production Assistant Apprentice to help deliver our growing slate of projects. Projects vary in scale from short social promos, animations/videos to longer narrative content, and location-based livestreams, to documentary films.

We are looking for a production assistant apprentice that is keen the get into the creative sector and wants to learn how to create content of distinction that delivers against client objectives. You will be working across multiple projects at different phases concurrently, ensuring client deadlines are met promptly. You will assist with the post-production phase of projects and help make sure projects remain neat and structured and all footage (including that filmed by us, stock UGC etc.) is appropriately licensed. You have basic understanding of video editing and preferably work with Adobe Premiere and have knowledge of sound editing and use of graphics. You will work closely with the wider production team to generate your own content ideas and take direction from colleagues and clients.

You will be required to travel to shoots as part of a crew or occasionally on your own. The role is client-facing and requires enthusiasm, confidence and positivity with a can-do approach and someone who understands different client brands and needs. You will report into the Senior Producer.

**Key activities**:

- Assist with Editing content in line with client briefs. Assembling narratives and structuring stories from interviews, voice over audio, scripts and other sources.
- Sourcing and selecting clips and b-roll to ensure the highest production value content
- Assist with Producing high quality video and animation output
- Work as part of a team to contribute to creative ideas and concepts
- Help Manage relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
- Optimise all video and multimedia output to be appropriate for desired delivery platform
- Ensure digital output complies with client brand guidelines
- Attend location-based shoots, livestreams and productions
- Assist with the production team in content development including video, multimedia and other digital content from initial conception through to delivery, co-ordinating with other resources as required
- Understanding of Editing preferably Adobe Premiere and a knowledge of Adobe After Effects would be amazing The role will require input to post-production and working with the editor to bring projects to fruition.
- Liaise with clients to develop and scale briefs in line with their budgets. Contribute to ideation sessions and get them excited about our proposals. Work up proof-of-concepts and pitches.
- Offer input to internal workflows and systems in order to ensure Cande is operating fluidly and productively. Share best practice, monitor trends and input to our operational handbook.
- Maintain project management software and ensure all projects are updated regularly with information and documentation
- Any other duties as reasonably required by your line manager

Entry requirements

Maths and English GCSE or equivalent Level 2 qualification at Grade 4/C and above.

You will be completing a Production Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship with Creative Alliance.
