**SALARY**:Starting from£37,465 per annum

**JOB TYPE**: Full-Time, Permanent

**WORKING HOURS**: Core working hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Operations Manager (Children’s Services) who has experience managing service delivery contracts for services with local authorities and private organisations, Rehabilitation practice/Habilitation Quality Standardsexperience and team leadership/management skills.

Working as the Operations Manager (Children’s Services) you will lead and manage a cross functional operations team of staff and volunteers working with children and young people and their families to provide the consistent delivery of person-centred servicesin accordance with their needs.

As the Operations Manager (Children’s Services) your role specifically supports the children’s services and manages a team of Habilitation Specialists. You will be responsible for managing contracts with local authorities within the region and supportingthe team to deliver Early Years sessions and direct delivery of habilitation services.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the Operations Manager (Children’s Services) will include:

- Responsible for the operational delivery required to enable person-centred services within the allocated geographical area of your Region
- Responsible for the person-centred delivery of services
- Work with key collaborative partners to augment, promote, develop and deliver these services
- Ensure feedback and the voice of customers is utilised to achieve continuous improvement
- Support the Regional Leadership Team to identify and implement funding opportunities or joint collaborative working
- Work closely with Safeguarding team members to embed safe practices in front line service delivery
- Provide first-line leadership to staff team(s), managing and developing a high performing operations team
- Develop team working, knowledge-sharing and promote professional best working practice
- Manage recruitment and staff resourcing in the team
- Ensure that strong volunteer and employee engagement is achieved through active listening and effective leadership
- Responsible for performance management of operational staff members
- Ensure processes are embedded and validated to enable quality standards to be efficiently met
- Plan a defined staged delivery plan
- Monitor and evaluate against key performance indicators
- Ensure appropriate resources are available to deliver the plan
- Work collaboratively with other internal and external professionals
- Support the Regional Leadership Team in developing and implementing change management concepts
- Ensures that operations staff and volunteers support fundraising where appropriate
- Support the Regional Leadership Team to ensure all relevant aspects of the operations budget is monitored and team expenditure against that budget is compliant and maximises efficiencies

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

**Essential**
- Experience of Rehabilitation practice / Habilitation Quality Standards
- Experience of professional supervision of staff working with children with complex needs
- Experience of management of service delivery contracts, with local authorities and private organisations
- Certified Management qualification such as ILM or equivalent relevant work experience in a management, supervisory or volunteer management role
- Eligibility to work in the UK
