**The Role**:
As an Administrator and Recordings Project Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the general administration of a busy recording department. Project Co-ordination involves overall responsibility for the artwork element for all recording projects, liaising between artists and designers, as well as ensuring all elements of a project come together to appropriate deadlines. This is a customer facing role, often dealing with external support staff. You will be responsible for arranging initial preparatory work, control of the diary as well as being involved in the production process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the artwork on all recording projects for World of Sound (WOS) and in-house labels, including liaising with graphic designers, creating cover concepts for projects and gathering information from artists/performers
- Be responsible for all aspects of preparatory work in connection with location and studio recordings, including booking of venues, vehicles, travel and hotel requirements
- Assistant on location sessions, studio sessions and live events as required
- Respond to enquiries from potential and existing customers, including the preparation of project proposals and quotations, and follow up all sales enquires
- Work with the team to develop the sales and profitability of the department and generally contribute to maintaining and progressing the high standards of the department

**Desirable Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience working with musical artists and groups

- Knowledge of design packages such as InDesign and Photoshop
- A good level of administration skills
- Customer focused
- Knowledge of Brass Bands and/or The Salvation Army

World of Sound is a department of Salvation Army Trading Co Ltd. (SATCoL) that specialises in audio recording and video production for music, predominantly in ‘classical’ music with a particular specialism in brass bands and choral music. The work of this department is split between providing content for the record labels also owned by SATCoL, providing production services for other record labels and self-financing groups and also resourcing the wider company, including various in-house publishing brands, and the work of The Salvation Army generally.
