We are currently looking for a Global Commercial Product Manager – Key Projects to join us at our facility in Wellingborough, UK.
The Global Product Manager – Key Projects, takes responsibility for leading a wide range of cross functional projects. They will work in close collaboration with major customers and other internal functions on a number of varied and complex projects including the development and management of a wide portfolio of products. They will ensure that the projects are successfully delivered by the deadlines agreed.
Key responsibilities:
Work in close collaboration with key customers, sales leaders, technology, PSRC (product stewardship & regulatory) and supply chain to lead a wide range of key projects and ensure they are successfully delivered by the deadlines agreed. Follow various internal processes such as StageGate and Management of change to manage the launch of new products or make changes to existing products. Work closely with the Artwork & Packaging Design Co-ordinator to either create new artwork or manage any labelling changes to existing products, ensuring 100% accuracy. Use internal master data and sales reports to analyse and track the sales and profitability of a product portfolio against an agreed set of targets and take actions as necessary to ensure they are achieved. Project manage other projects that are not product specific. For example projects that are driven either by regulatory changes or changes in supply chain. Regularly present product and project updates to internal stakeholders. Work within agreed spend budgets.Key requirements:
Previous Product or Project Management experience in either B2C or B2B business. Ability to engage and lead others and manage complex projects. Analytical and commercially driven with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a desire for excellence. Ability to multi-task. Highly organised and reliable. Able to prioritise and work calmly under pressure to achieve deadlines. Good team player with strong interpersonal skills. Numerate, analytical and IT literate.
