Sales and Membership Engagement Specialist - Swimwear Industry

ProSwimwear Ltd is world’s leading online retailer of competitive swimwear, offering a diverse range of products for training and racing across all levels, along with essential swimming accessories. We are a professional swimwear specialist selling to entry level swimmers all the way up to Olympic level athletes. We prioritize being in the office to build strong team bonds and ensure effective communication. Please note that we do not currently offer hybrid or remote working options.

**Job Overview**

You will be responsible for our Swimming clubs area of the business:
There are over 1500 UK ASA Swim clubs as well as Triathlon and Open Water Clubs.

As an Office-Based Sales and Membership Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and enhancing customer satisfaction within the swimwear industry. Your responsibilities will encompass managing existing swim club accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service as needed supporting and covering customer service when necessary. Our office environment fosters strong team bonds and effective communication to support your success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

- New Business Development:

- Identify and target new swim clubs, triathlon clubs, and open water clubs to expand our customer base.
- Drive sales through innovative strategies and explore new avenues for business growth.
- Cultivate relationships improving business image.
- Provide full support to the customer service department as part of the team, assisting with general tasks as needed to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Account Management:

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Introduce new product ranges and promotional initiatives to existing clients to drive upselling opportunities.
- Provide personalized support and communication to address customer needs effectively.

Membership Engagement:

- Collaborate with club members to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Assist with customer service inquiries and issue resolution to ensure a seamless customer experience.

**Experience or knowledge of the following would be an advantage but not essential**:

- Demonstrated experience in sales development, preferably within the sports or retail industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within an office-based team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
