**Job Purpose**:
The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Sample Receipt Process, in addition to providing support for the wider administration team. Due to the nature of the samples that we work with, it is of the utmost importance that all client requirements, government legislation and quality controls are adhered to at all times and with meticulous precision due to the impact it has on the company, our clients and the end users.
Core accountabilities include:
- Book samples into our system, assigning them unique numbers and producing sample receipt paperwork and sample labels.
- Continuously improve/develop systems to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of the laboratory sample receipt processes.
- Be the first point of contact for customers and clients, ensuring a great customer experience.
- Demonstrate the sample receipt process at audit; internal, client and regulatory.
- Maintain legible, traceable records for all samples.
- Ensure that the quality management system is adhered to and followed at all times.
- Ensure that client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Provide back-up cover for report generation as and when required.
**Key Person Requirements**
- Experience of working in an administrative/customer facing role
- Experience of using a range of software packages (MS Office)
- Experience of working under pressure
- Due to the nature of the samples we work with, all applicants must be aged 18+
- GCSE Maths & English, or higher
