Business Administration Apprentice

To achieve the Business Administrator Level 3 Standard, roles must give the learner knowledge, skills and experience in the following:
- Using multiple IT packages - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and any other industry related bespoke software
- Supporting others/helping them to produce business documents
- Supporting others/helping them with the use of IT software (as above)
- Acting as a buddy/mentor to others
- Updating records/systems with data
- Recommending solutions and improvements to data systems
- Coaching others and providing feedback on their performance
- Making sound decisions accurately and in a timely manner
- Working in a team and being able to influence and challenge peers and/or managers
- Demonstrating good communication skills - verbal and written
- Answering queries from external and internal stakeholders
- Managing time and meeting work priorities
- Managing resources (equipment, facilities/rooms)
- Managing meetings and/or events - Making arrangements, recording and producing minutes
- Booking travel and/or accommodation
- Managing a small project
- Showing professionalism, punctuality and respecting others
- The Company must complete PDP/Appraisals/reviews with all apprentices and document these. They must show negotiated targets, ongoing professional development and feedback from the employer
To achieve a Distinction, they will also need experience and evidence of:
- Potentially identifying a reduction in costs/save money when arranging meetings/events and travel/accommodation and identifying an improved method of working that relates to arranging meetings/events and booking travel/accommodation
- Managing a significant project
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills and using management tools/principles
- Representing the team/company - act as Ambassador
- Responding to a change in priorities - can evaluate the change and impact of it
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 18 months
**Salary**: From £5.30 per hour
