Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Support Worker at our Supported Living service in Selly Park, Birmingham.
This is a permanent role, working 35 hours per week. As a Waking Night Support Worker you will receive £11.25 per hour.
At our 6-bedded service, we support individuals with complex needs, including mobility impairment, learning disabilities and sensory losses. The people we support live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things.
Care is provided around the clock. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting with personal care needs during the night and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and record keeping.
**Your shift patterns for this role will be as follows**: 4 nights on and 4 nights off. Does this sound right for you?
**We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are**:
Positive, with a can-do attitude.
Caring and empathetic.
Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
Knowledge of or qualification in British Sign Language Level 1 or similar is desirable. ( BSL / Makaton etc.)

**This role in Selly Park might include supporting people with**:
Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Personal care and hygiene.

Medication and wellbeing.
