Payroll Manager

Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent this successful and busy professional business in the Bingley area, who due to continued business success, are now seeking to appoint a capable, confident Payroll Manager. This position requires previouspayroll management and supervisory experience to supervise another team member. Ideally you will possess previous payroll experience within a bureau/accountancy environment and now seeking more autonomy in your role and a move to a friendly, stable smallerfirm.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Full end to end Payroll processing end to end for both weekly/monthly & four weekly payrolls for a varied portfolio of small SME's to larger clients using a SAGE system. Sage experience ideal, but not essential
Staff management (1 team member)
BACS payments
Auto enrolment pension processing i.e People's Pension etc
RTI filing end of year processing
SMP/SSP processing
Processing of new starters/leavers, P45/P46's (no P11D's)
Client liaison, dealing with queries and providing services advice
Software knowledge of ideally SAGE (desirable, not essential, training provided)
Person Specification
Full end to end Payroll processing end to end (monthly & weekly payrolls)
Staff supervisory/management experience
Proactive and innovative approach to resolving queries
Confident and friendly communication/telephone manner
Previous payroll management, staff supervision experience within a similar role OR ready for the next step up to a payroll management role with the ability to recruit and manage your own payroll team.
**Salary**: £31K-£35K Negotiable dependent on experience + 24 days hols + Pension + Flexible working option in future + Healthcare
