**Payroll Officer - Bradford**

We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team at our head office in Bradford.

In this role, you will oversee administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient running of day-to-day operations.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain payroll records and manage employee information in the payroll system.
- Verify and reconcile timesheets, attendance records, and other payroll-related data.
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and assist with audits.
- Manage deductions, benefits, and other payroll adjustments.
- Coordinate with HR to update employee records regarding changes in employment status, benefits, and pay rates.
- Process new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar payroll position.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in payroll software (Sage Desirable) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
