HR Coordinator | Yorkshire Clinic Hospital | Full Time | £26,000

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team here at Yorkshire Clinic Hospital.

You will provide a confidential administrative and first line support service to the Hospital relating to HR and Payroll issues.

This is an extremely busy and challenging role requiring a professional with a positive and even temperament. We are looking for a customer focused individual who demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be confident in your approach and show initiative. You must be well organised, able to prioritise and manage your own workload. Computer literacy and a strong administrative background is essential. Previous Human Resources experience would be an advantage.

As a professional member of our team your key responsibilities will include:

- Acting as first line support for all general HR queries, providing timely and accurate advice, in line with Ramsay HR policies and employment law
- Adhering to monthly Payroll processes in an accurate and timely manner
- Co-coordinating the recruitment and induction process and adhering to relevant employment legislation
- Maintaining the HR/Payroll system and creating reports
- Creating and maintaining personnel files
- Attending formal employment relation meetings including disciplinary and grievance hearings as company witness and scribe
- Utilise reporting and recording systems ensuring that DBS, sponsorship certificates and professional registrations are up to date for all relevant employees
- Co-ordination of Occupational Health absence management referrals and maintaining sickness absence records.
- Administering staff roster system (Allocate Health roster)

It is essential that you have:

- Strong administrative experience
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral
- Minute-taking skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- An excellent standard of computer literacy to include Word, Excel & Outlook
- The ability to work independently
- The ability to time-manage
- Experience using Allocate Health roster, Workday and Sage Personnel systems would be an advantage
- Experience in an HR background would be an advantage
