Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working in partnership with a leading business based in the Horsforth area who are looking to expand their finance function with the addition of a capable, hardworking and ambitious Payroll Coordinator.
Working within a sociable and hardworking team; you will be responsible assisting the Payroll Manager in maintaining an efficient and accurate payroll function. You will be processing 15 + payrolls with a total of 800 employees, as well as responding to queriesas and when required. The payroll is processed on a monthly basis and you will be working at a fast pace as the group have recently gone through a number of acquisitions
Key duties will include:

- Assisting with the administration and processing of payroll
- Assisting with processing new starters, leavers and making any amendments
- Processing PAYE, National insurance and payroll legislation
- Issuing p45's
- Preparing BACS payments
- Processing sick pay, maternity/paternity pay and processing payroll calculations when required
Person specification:

- Experience in processing payroll (end to end)
- CIPP qualified (desired)
- GCSEs including Maths & English
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work well towards strict deadlines
