**Job summary**:
We are Cafcass - the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service - and we represent children in family court cases in England.

Independently advising the family courts about what is safe for children and in their best interests, we speak up for over 140,0000 children and young people every year ensuring their needs, wishes and feelings are heard. In short, our role is to be their voice.

If our purpose resonates with you, we are recruiting for the role of **Resourcing Adviser, **which is** part of a team based from our office in **Coventry**, near to Warwick University (we provide free parking or excellent public transport links).

In this advert we hope to give you enough information to encourage you to click through to our vacancy page where you can find out more about the role, the benefits we offer, our approach to wellbeing and much, much more.

**Job description**:
Our Resourcing team play a critical role in supporting the organisation to recruit and onboard new employees, whether this is social workers or for our Corporate and Business Services teams who provide critical, specialist support.

You will also be part of the management team that oversees the Resourcing and People Transactions team, playing a key role in developing and implementing new projects or processes.

You will also provide specialist advice and practical support to hiring managers of all levels of seniority to ensure all recruitment and selection activity remains in line with policy, procedure and relevant legal and legislative requirements.

**Person specification**:
**To thrive as a** Resourcing Adviser**, we think you need to be someone who;**
- Enjoys coaching and supporting colleagues to achieve their potential.
- Is ready to build on their recruitment experience - ideally in a similar environment but not essential - and take their career to the next level.
- Is motivated to continually improve them self and others.
- Is inspired by our organisational purpose and understands the importance of how this role contributes.
- Has a good understanding - and ideally some experience but not critical - of how to be an outstanding leader in a high trust / high challenge and strengths-based culture.
- Is innovative, creative and challenges them self and others to think and work in different ways, rather than default to doing what is familiar.
- Is analytical and uses qualitative and quantitative data to inform actions and decisions.

If you join us you will be trusted to work flexibly and independently using outstanding technology (e.g. touchscreen laptops, iPhone, all with first class support, including IT Trainers) and have access to substantial resources (e.g. Cafcass Library has over 27,000 resources). You will also have opportunities to develop, whatever team you join, wherever you are in the country and at whatever stage you are at in your career.

**Benefits**:
We also know that to join us you want to be rewarded in a variety of ways, including quality time away from work to spend time with those important to you, support to manage your financial present and future, whilst also being trusted to manage your work/life balance. We have an extensive package of benefits that you can find out more about when you click through, including excellent holidays and a generous Local Government Pension Scheme to name just two things.

We also understand that you will want to work for an organisation that is both passionate and committed to supporting your wellbeing. As you will find out when you visit our vacancy page, the four dedicated, additional days per year when colleagues are encouraged to spend time focusing on their health and wellbeing is just one of a multitude of ways in which we do this.
