We have an exciting opportunity at Aberdeen for a Marketing C0-ordinator/ Receptionist to join our Fire training team.
The role will be based at Aberdeen Airport. This role is for 32 hours over 4 days with Friday being a Non working day.

The role will promote a positive image of FTG through the delivery of effective marketing channels, which attracts new and retains existing customers.
Develop and co-ordinate the marketing activities to maximise revenue potential, while supporting the management team to facilitate the closing of sales.

As the first point of contact for delegates and visitors to The Fire Training Group, the role requires a high level of customer service skills coupled with a friendly disposition. Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures are delivered to visitors with accurate records maintained. Administrative tasks include procurement and photocopying.

**Principle accountabilities**
- Responsible for day to day marketing tasks, co-ordinating projects and activities as required
- Compile and maintain tracking systems for marketing campaigns
- Produce and maintain the content for both online and social media channels
- Preserve an effective and accurate sales database
- Maintain and record an effective and accurate invoicing system for courses
- Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors
- Represent FTG at trade fairs and exhibitions
- Produce marketing communications, such as flyers, brochures, adverts and exhibition related products
- Greet and direct all visitors and delegates
- Receive, direct and relay telephone messages
- Maintain and ensure completion of paperwork, sign in documentation and security procedures
- Answer visitor queries, supplying required information to them
- Allocate training rooms in accordance with the course programme
- Procure and maintain an adequate inventory of stores and stationary to meet demand
- Photocopy and maintain adequate supplies of delegates notes
- Management of key personnel diaries
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Ensure the reception area and delegates lounge are tidy and presentable at all times
- Sell merchandise to delegates, maintaining robust records to auditable standards
- Administer fault reporting process, ensuring close out of actions
- Work with the AIAL Security Management Team to promote the Security Management System (SeMs) culture across the airport campus with a focus on adherence to the principles within the AIAL Security Policy, achieve this through the reporting of all suspicious or security related incidents in a timely manner to Security or the Police or Airport Duty Manager.

- Discreet with the ability to maintain confidentiality in a highly sensitive marketplace
- Strong commercial focus

- Knowledge of Google analytics
- Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experienced in dealing with members of the public
- Excellent administrative and clerical procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative

**Framework and boundaries**
- The role reports directly to the Head of The Fire Training Group and will have no direct reports
- All web and social media channels to comply with current regulatory requirements
- Compliance with Health & Safety Regulations
- Compliance with AIAL policies and procedures
- To work under minimum supervision to provide delegates and visitors with a positive experience
- Attain and maintain an understanding of courses offered
