Activity Worker

We need Activity Workers to help us run our new Social Group for adults with additional needs.
- The group will run for approximately 2 hours per month in an evening (you will be paid additional time either side of this session). _

Sessions are aimed at adults 18 to 32 years who require little or no support (ratio 1 staff to 4 attendees)

Sessions take place once a month in Wokingham. (Venue to be confirmed as this is a brand new group)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- As part of a team:_
- Attend sessions as a positive and engaging role model to provide a fun and engaging session that is inclusive for all attending
- To work alongside adults with additional needs and their families to ensure the sessions are safe but fun; that reasonable adjustments are made, and that behaviour is appropriate
- To create and help to run a fun, interactive and sociable session
- To create accurate & timely records of first-aid, behaviour or safeguarding concerns
- Individually_:

- Keep up to date and secure records of each adult as applicable
- Liaise with the Project Manager and the team regarding any session adjustments needed
- Regularly review the Risk Assessment & Fire Plan with the Project Manager to ensure it remains up to date and accurate in respect of every attendee

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
